….WebTrends. (please please hold the applause)

Welcome to the WebTrends BLOG everyone! I know, it’s about time, right? I’d say something lame like “we’ve been busy”, but truth is I’m a hopeless introvert. Don’t worry, fellow WebTrends bloggers won’t be quite as neurotic.

I’ve been given the auspicious honor to kick this off since I’m the elder statesmen of the WebTrends Marketing department (at least in terms of tenure). In the postings to come we hope to inform, or at least entertain you with our views on the wacky world of digital marketing and web analytics.

Change is everywhere, from web analytics to the faces in Washington DC. Speaking of DC come see us at eMetrics next week, these are exciting times and we’ve got a lot of new things to tell you about. As for our customers and partners, our sincere thanks. While it may not always be obvious, we’re listening. Please, keep the feedback and ideas coming.

In the meantime – check out Alex’s introduction, bookmark this blog, email to a colleague or subscribe to our RSS feed and along the way let’s keep the open exchange of ideas flowing.

For now, viva WebTrends!

I agree about the risk taking. Go with it, there is little to lose. Hopeless Introverts could try a pseudo-name!

I am thinking that I can take partial credit for this because of all my prodding back in March and since, am I right?
But seriously, this is great. I look forward to lively discussions and learning a lot.

    Welcome to the Portland Bunch!!

We can never hear too much from you guys, and as much as I am a “neutral” consultant, you know the special place WebTrends Marketing Lab has in my heart.

    Welcome Barry!!

Let me rush to assure you that this is a perfect medium for introverts (and I say that as a “hopeless introvert” myself). As you write more you’ll see how true that is.

    Enjoy the ride!
