With all the fanfare around Analytics 10, I’m sure you’re also asking – what’s new with Segments and Visitor Data Mart? I’d like to share some important improvements which will make targeting and integration more effective and efficient for you.
Segments now available for same day targeting
Many of our customers have asked for more frequent extract capabilities to drive more timely targeting. Marketers can now leverage intra day segment extracts to execute same day targeting in their action system of choice, including Webtrends Optimize for on-site targeting and email solutions. Now accessible in Data Scheduler, intra-day segment extracts can be scheduled to run 2, 3, or 4 times daily. All extracts in Data Scheduler from the Visitor Data Mart platform are now also available intra-day.
More Timely Extracts
Some of our customers integrate visitor data from Webtrends Visitor Data Mart into their broader business systems each day. Additionally, many customers use visitor segments daily to drive ongoing targeting. Delivery of this data in a timely manner each day is critical. With this release, these daily extracts are prioritized above weekly, monthly, and ad-hoc extracts to ensure consistency in ongoing targeting and system integration activities.
As testament to our commitment to quality, a variety of defects for Visitor Data Mart and Segments are resolved in this release. The complete list of defects resolved are available in the release notes.
