An Open Letter From Alex Yoder to the Webtrends Community

Webtrends Employees, Partners and Friends,

Earlier this week in New York, I had the honor of accepting a Stevie Award for Executive of the Year 2011 in Computer Software and the American Technology Award for best eCommerce Platform. In accepting these awards, I was clear that these successes were achieved by the entire Webtrends team, and wanted to take this opportunity to thank everyone for their incredible passion and hard work — and for making Webtrends what it is today and what it will be tomorrow.

Over the past year I’ve had many amazing opportunities to speak to a wide range of people about our company, our products and our partners and it’s been a real joy. I am regularly asked questions about how we continue to innovate in such a dynamic market and how we maintain such deep expertise in foundational insight and in emerging disciplines —  the answer to these questions is “our people”.

It’s a cliche, I know, but we’re different. Our enviable position in the market as the only pure-play focused solely on ensuring the digital marketing success of our customers allows us flexibility of vision and ultimate focus. Our accomplishments this year have been outstanding and as I shared from the podium in New York, these successes are just a foreshadowing of what’s to come.
