Sobongo is the online shopping site for people who like get customer service from real people. While building their brand recognition momentum, they created a contest for their Facebook fans that encouraged fans to spread the word. Unlike most sweepstakes where more entries means more competition, Sobongo offered a prize structure where more entries meant more prizes.

By using Webtrends’ Sweepstakes App to launch the contest directly on their fan page, Sobongo was able to kick off their contest after only 3 days designing graphics and modifying the app to its liking. Putting it up on Facebook took less than ten minutes.

The speed of concept to creation allowed them to get infront of their fan base almost immediately with a engagement campaign that boosted Facebook Likes and email subscribers. By incorporating viral sharing features into their Sweepstakes app they made it easy for Facebook users to share the contest entry form with their friends and via the newsfeed.
